Within the framework of the campaign against African blindness, 9 patients were operated for free of charge on 1 April, and by giving their medication they were sent to their 30 Km away refugee camps. Thanks to the cataract scanning team established by our hospital manager Assoc. Prof. Dr İsmail YILMAZ, patients in the camps are sent to our hospital. By benefiting from this campaign a 3 month old baby named Camir Abdifitah Ahmed both eyes blind were successfully operated by Op. Dr.Selim GENÇ and started to see.
