The “I. Somalia-Turkey Medical Days” event organized by our hospital has been sucessfully achieved.
With the participation of the director General Manager, Ministry of Health of Somalia Mr. Abdullahi Hashi and the Turkish Deputy Ambassador Alican AKSOY and the representitives of other institutions have emphasized the continuation of the Somali and Turkish brotherhood in the health sector.
A total of 42 poster presentations were prepared and the first three winners were given awards.
- The most successful posture award has been presented to Dr. Abdinafic Mohamud Hussein by the Deputy Ambassador of Turkey Mr. Alican AKSOY.
- the second place award has been presented to Dr. Ahmed Isak Hussein by the General Director, Somalia Ministry of Health Mr. Abdullahı Hashi.
- the third place award has been presented to Dr. Abdifitah Ahmed Sheikh by the Hospital Director, Assoc. Prof. Mustafa ÇÖRTÜK.
After the other participants were given their awards the poster area was visited. İt was the first time such an event was organized in Somalia that we presented posters including the diagnosis and the treatments we performed in our hospital.we planned to make this event routine and we hope the next event to do with the participation of other universities and hospitals.
