In the context of Infection Control Committee studies in our hospital pandemic committee has been established and on 16.03.2020 for the precautions to be taken against Covid-19,
4 meetings have been held and to take the below measures have been decided.
Triage has been started at the entrance of the hospital.
An isolation room has been established at the entrance of the emergency room for the follow-up of the suspected patients.
Suspicious patients are taken to the isolation room with surgical mask. The patients are followed here until they are transferred to the quarantine hospital determined by the Somali Government.
All personnel in patient examination and treatment areas work with surgical masks.
Inpatient visits are arranged as short and single patient relatives.
Cleaning and disinfection processes are increased on surfaces that are frequently touched in the hospital, day-end cleaning is done in more detailed way.
