Internal Medicine Clinic
The Internal Medicine Clinic is one of the core clinical units of our hospital, providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for adult patients. The clinic delivers uninterrupted outpatient, inpatient, hemodialysis, and intensive care consultation services with a multidisciplinary approach and in accordance with up-to-date scientific evidence. The clinic employs 6 specialist physicians and 8 resident physicians (3 of whom are currently continuing their residency training in Türkiye as part of a rotation program), and offers high-quality and accessible healthcare services together with its experienced nursing staff.
Outpatient Services
• The Internal Medicine Clinic operates through 4 outpatient examination rooms.
• Comprehensive medical evaluation for acute and chronic illnesses
• Management of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and endocrine disorders
• Follow-up of cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and gastrointestinal diseases
• Evaluation of infectious diseases
• Geriatric patient management and follow-up of patients with multimorbidity
• Medication management and chronic disease counselling
• Pre-operative medical evaluation and risk optimization
• Bedside diagnostic tests and interpretation of laboratory results
• Referral to higher-level specialties when necessary
Inpatient and Ward Services
In the Internal Medicine ward, uninterrupted 24-hour care is provided to patients requiring hospitalization for diagnostic evaluation, medical stabilization, or long-term management of complex conditions. Daily physician rounds, multidisciplinary case assessments, and patient-centered treatment planning are conducted regularly to ensure safe, effective, and timely healthcare delivery.
Hemodialysis Center
The Internal Medicine Clinic oversees the medical management of the hospital’s Hemodialysis Center and provides safe and uninterrupted renal replacement therapy to patients with acute and chronic kidney failure.
• Scheduled hemodialysis sessions for chronic kidney patients
• Emergency hemodialysis for acute kidney injury, severe electrolyte disturbances, and toxin removal
• Monitoring of vascular access (AV fistula, graft, catheter)
• Management of complications arising during dialysis
• Coordination with nephrology, vascular surgery, and laboratory units
All procedures are performed using modern hemodialysis equipment under the supervision of trained dialysis nurses and internal medicine specialists.
