Angiography Laboratory
The Angiography Laboratory is a specialized unit equipped with advanced technology, where state-of-the-art imaging and interventional procedures are performed for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. This laboratory serves as a critical center where all emergency and elective cardiovascular interventions are conducted safely within a multidisciplinary team framework. Our Angiography Laboratory is outfitted with modern devices, allowing procedures to be carried out with high-resolution imaging and maximum safety. Advanced monitoring systems, non-invasive and invasive ventilation support, and, when needed, temporary pacemaker applications are also available.
Objectives of the Unit
Enhance quality of life through early diagnosis
Provide rapid intervention in cardiovascular diseases
Deliver safe services using modern technology
Ensure maximum radiation safety
Offer patient-centered, ethical, and high-quality care
Vision of the Unit
Provide services in compliance with national and international standards
Continuously adopt modern technologies in laboratory practices
Perform safe and rapid interventions that improve patients’ quality of life
Become a reference center in cardiovascular care
Purpose of the Unit
Rapidly, accurately, and reliably diagnose coronary and peripheral vascular diseases
Apply treatment in the same session when necessary (balloon, stent, etc.)
Intervene without delay in life-threatening cardiovascular emergencies
Deliver safe, high-quality interventional services in accordance with current guidelines
Ensure a fast, safe, and effective intervention process for patients
Key Procedures Performed in the Laboratory
Detailed imaging of the cardiovascular system
Detection of stenosis, occlusion, and structural abnormalities
Drug-eluting or bare-metal stent placement
Emergency intervention in acute coronary syndromes
Coronary angiography (diagnostic)
Coronary balloon and stent procedures (elective and acute primary PCI for heart attack patients)
Pericardiocentesis (draining pericardial fluid)
