At Mogadishu Somalia–Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Training and Research Hospital, Hadsan Dahır Cıbar (68), who was diagnosed with bile duct cancer, has regained his health following a Whipple procedure, an advanced surgical operation.
The surgery was successfully performed by General Surgery Specialist Dr. Resul Nusretoglu. The Whipple procedure involved the removal of the pancreas, bile duct, duodenum, and a portion of the stomach, followed by the reconstruction of the digestive system. Thanks to this advanced surgical intervention, the patient has made a successful recovery.
