Department of Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics is one of the hospital’s busiest and most critical service areas, providing comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for children from the neonatal period through adolescence.
The clinic operates outpatient services, inpatient wards, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) following up-to-date scientific guidelines and a multidisciplinary approach.
Experienced specialist physicians, resident doctors, and nurses specialized in neonatal and pediatric intensive care deliver continuous, safe, and accessible healthcare services to children.

Outpatient Services

The Department of Pediatrics offers a wide range of services through four outpatient clinic rooms, including one located in the Additional Service Building-1:

  • Routine child health check-ups and growth & development assessment

  • Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pediatric diseases

  • Management of infectious diseases, respiratory illnesses, and gastrointestinal disorders

  • Monitoring of allergic diseases and asthma

  • Nutritional counseling and chronic disease management

  • Vaccination and preventive child health services

  • Preoperative pediatric evaluation

  • Interpretation of laboratory and imaging results

  • Multidisciplinary approach in coordination with other specialties when necessary

Inpatient Services

The pediatric ward consists of 40 beds and provides care for children with a variety of medical conditions:

  • 24/7 physician and nursing coverage

  • Daily rounds and patient-centered treatment planning

  • Multidisciplinary case evaluations

  • Monitoring of children requiring complex or long-term treatments

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Our NICU is a 15-incubator, tertiary-level unit, recognized as one of the most advanced neonatal centers in the country:

  • Care for premature infants

  • Respiratory support (CPAP, mechanical ventilation, etc.)

  • Management of sepsis, RDS, hyperbilirubinemia, and other critical neonatal conditions

  • TPN, phototherapy, and advanced neonatal care procedures

  • Integrated with delivery room, operating room, and emergency services

All procedures are carried out by specialized physicians and neonatal nurses.

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

The 8-bed, tertiary-level PICU is a state-of-the-art unit for managing severe and life-threatening pediatric conditions:

  • Management of respiratory failure, sepsis, severe infections, and trauma

  • Mechanical ventilation and advanced monitoring

  • Multidisciplinary consultation support

  • Stabilization and close monitoring of critically ill patients
